Crave Kabob
About This Spot
Stepping into Crave Kabob feels like discovering a relaxed neighborhood gem where the rich aromas of Mediterranean spices invite you in with quiet warmth. Nestled on a lively stretch of West Madison, this spot offers a calm rhythm away from the city’s hustle, where the hum of friendly conversations and soft, well-chosen music set an inviting, unhurried tone.
The interior mirrors the thoughtful care found in each dish—simple, clean, and welcoming—making it an easy place to settle into whether you're grabbing a quick bite or lingering over a meal with friends. The attentive, genuine service creates a comfortable space where questions about the menu are met with patient guidance, helping you navigate flavors that are vibrant yet familiar.
Crave Kabob’s menu is a quiet celebration of Mediterranean classics, where freshly made falafel, warm pita, and various grilled offerings come together in balanced, flavorful combinations. There’s an evident care in the layering of textures and spices—crispy exteriors, soft interiors, and subtle heat—that make each bite feel thoughtfully crafted. Accompanying these are refreshing drinks, like a bright mint lime refresher, that lighten and enliven the meal, especially when the Chicago sun is out.
Visitors often find the pace comfortable, with well-portioned meals arriving at a relaxed pace that respects the casual atmosphere. The space itself feels clean and cared for, complementing the thoughtful attention paid to food preparation and presentation.
Whether you’re craving the familiar comfort of hummus and warm pita or curious to explore dishes richer in spice and texture, Crave Kabob creates a small, joyful journey through Mediterranean flavors. It’s a place where the food feels fresh, the service is quietly confident, and the vibe gently invites you to return—not just for a meal, but for a reliably good moment in the day.

Great service! Clean restaurant and of course great tasting food. I ordered takeout and they neatly prepared my order, especially appreciate the separation of cold and warm prepared food in separate containers. Also give the refreshing mint lime drink a try, especially on a hot summer day! Also, they have free parking right in front of the restaurant, See you again soon!

Hands down one of the best places for falafel ! The outside is perfectly crispy and the inside is soft and flavorful but not mushy! The service is always great and the food is always warm, fresh, and delicious. Thank you for bringing a taste of Palestine to Chicago.

The food was great. The place has a chill vibe. Cree Cree (hope I spelled that right if not I'm sorry) was very helpful and her customer service skills were on point. She was helpful taking my order and she was attentive when I was trying to describe a dish. She checked on us to see if we were enjoying the food, which was very considerate. I wish more places did this. Really enjoyed the meal thanks Cree Cree. Give her a raise.

We had a great experience! I do recommend the food. Fresh, good portions and also the woman that takes your order is really nice, she made us feel welcome. Was our first time at the restaurant but not the last for sure.

Crave Kabob is delicious and healthy and a great place to grab a hearty meal before going to any event at the united center! I got the lamb entree and it cooked to absolute perfection! I will be back soon!!

The food, service, and atmosphere were 10/10. The staff were very kind and welcoming. I ordered the falafel pita, and I LOVED it. I also received complimentary baklava, which was very sweet and delicious. I will definitely be back. HIGHLY recommend!
